Back in August 2019, Tristan suggested, if any of us were in the Beaune region, we should visit chateaux Savigny, which has a privately owned collection of jet fighters, probably the biggest in the world, oh… and it’s in the best wine region of the world!
From that first email a trip was born. Mark Zandler took up the challenges and within a few emails we had set a date, Mark then proceeded to book everything up. The plan quite simply drive out Monday morning then home Wednesday evening. It worked like clockwork a 07:30 meet at EuroTunnel followed by a 5 hr drive the other side, there were 6 cars.
We stayed at La Cueillette a chateaux in Meursault, great character and good rooms.
